The Elections
Board Elections will take place at the Annual Neighborhood Meeting on Thursday, May 7, 2009. The meeting will run from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. at Minnehaha United Methodist Church, 3701 E. 50th St.

At full strength, the NENA Board of Directors has 15 seats: three representatives from each of our four neighborhoods (Keewaydin, Minnehaha, Morris Park and Wenonah) and three at-large positions. The three at-large positions are up for election this year, along with 4 of the neighborhood positions - one from each neighborhood.

The Board nominating committee will suggest a slate of candidates, based on the applications received.  NENA’s bylaws also permit nominations for candidates to be made at the meeting.

Short bios of the candidates will be available at meeting.

Anyone who is a member* of NENA can run for, and vote in, the at-large elections. However, in order to vote fo,r or run as, a neighborhood representative, you must live in that neighborhood.
