Mission

The mission of the NENA Environmental Committee is to drive conservation, education and collaboration that supports the Nokomis East neighborhoods andthe city of Minneapolis.

Committee Priorities

Protect our waterways by joining Adopt-A-Drain and keeping our lakes, rivers, and streams clean and healthy.
Expand our tree canopy to create cooler, greener, and healthier neighborhoods
Grow Neighborhood Giving Gardens to provide fresh food, strengthen community connections, and promote healthy living.
Advance Zero Waste by reducing waste, reusing resources, and building a more sustainable community.
Organize neighborhood cleanups to remove litter, bring residents together, and create cleaner, safer neighborhoods.
