About the event
The League of Women Voters reached out to NENA early this spring about being co-sponsors for the city council forms being held this fall. Because NENA sits within two wards, we are co-sponsors for both Ward 11 & Ward 12.
The forums are non-partisan and all candidates who have submitted candidate paperwork are invited. The forums are free and open to the public, will be live streamed, recorded and in person.
Us being a co-sponsors means that we are helping to offset the cost for production ($200 per forum for a total cost of 400 for NENA) and publicity of the event. We have also been invited to have a table sharing information about NENA ( I will be attending and would love for anyone from Ward 11 to join me!). The other co-sponsors for Ward 11 are Tangletown, Hale Page Diamond Lake & Windom.
